The 23rd Battalion Association newsletters were started in 1995 to replace the part page the Association had in the Christchurch RSA (Returned Services Association) news, as it was felt that some members of the Association were getting to the age where they were unable to attend reunions. I have been given copies of them by Fred Marrett, current President of the 23rd Battalion Association. I have excerpted only the stories, and left out the notes and reminders, and personal comments. |
